Where were we this month?

Where were we this month?

For where we were this month we went out for a fishing trip out of Port Canaveral. There were 6 of us fishing, as well as the skipper who sorted out the bait and equipment for us. We went out about 10 miles, and had a great day out. We mostly caught King Mackerel, which put up quite a fight. We did also catch a couple of small sharks, but we released those after a quick photo opportunity. The skipper cleaned the fish for us when we got back to port, and we all left with a large bag of Mackerel fillets.

Florida Glass

We have featured Florida Glass before in our newsletters, but we wanted to remind you the difference it can make. As well as providing privacy for your pool or porch enclosure, it can also prevent sand or dirt from blowing through. These photos show before and after a Florida Glass panel has been installed.

We support the Sunshine Foundations Gala every year – this year it is on 13th October at the Omni Resort in Kissimmee. There are various sponsorship opportunities. Click Here For More Details. Although sponsoring full tables is one option, individual tickets are also available to purchase. We are trying to fill several tables this year, so if you would like to attend please come and join us.

The Fourth of July – also known as Independence Day or July 4th – has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution.

From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues.
