Where were we this month?


We had some friends visit from UK, and when they headed off to the West Coast for a long weekend, we managed to meet up with them after working on the Saturday.


We had a night out in Treasure Island, then headed back home on the Sunday.


At this time of year we always have the challenge of trying to fit in our work schedule between thunderstorms, and all the guys have been working 6 days a week. We are still trying to recruit landscapers so if anyone knows a suitable candidate please let us know.



We managed to fit some screen projects in. Including another job where the client wanted to swap out the regular screen material in the whole bottom row of his pool enclosure to Florida Glass. This one was a bit of a challenge as there were multiple plants on the outside of the enclosure, but we just had enough room to get the job done.

Florida has more than 700 springs. Almost all are north of Interstate 4 because they bubble up through the Florida Aquifer, an underground limestone formation that is nearest the surface north of the interstate highway. South of the highway, the aquifer runs much deeper beneath the surface. Flowing springs with temperatures usually in the low 70s. Read More...
